There's no real build-your-own path here: the value isn't the interface, it's years of a crawler indexing the web into a backlink and keyword database plus a licensed panel of real user clickstream data, and no amount of prompting an AI coding tool recreates either of those. You can wire an AI coding tool to Semrush's own API and build a custom dashboard on top of it, but you'd still be paying Semrush's subscription and per-unit API fees to read from their index. The closest DIY alternative — a narrow scraper or a SERP API pointed at the live web — gets you today's search results, not a historical crawl of the web's link graph.
